THE STORY

Every tattoo begins with a passion.

My passion for tattooing comes from drawing. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always loved to draw.

After a major turning point in my personal life, I decided to dedicate all of my free time to learning tattooing because I saw it as the only way to turn my passion for art into a career.

From the very first time I picked up a tattoo machine, I realised that this was going to be my way of life. From that moment on, I took it very seriously.

The hardest part was leaving the security of a stable job to dedicate myself entirely to tattooing and opening my own studio.

Despite everything, I’ve never thought about giving up tattooing because, for me, it’s much more than a job.

It’s my passion.

    From that moment, I knew tattooing wasn’t simply something I wanted to do
    it was what I wanted to dedicate my life to. That’s why I’ve always taken this profession seriously and never stopped pushing myself to improve.

    “The hardest decision was leaving the security of a stable job to dedicate myself entirely to tattooing and open my own studio.”

    Taking that step meant leaving certainty behind and betting everything on my passion. It wasn’t easy, but it allowed me to build Chico Tattoo Studio and dedicate myself completely to the craft I love.

    No matter how difficult the journey has been, tattooing has always been my passion. It’s what motivates me every day and the reason I continue striving to become a better artist with every tattoo I create.

    For me, rushing has never been the goal. I’d rather spend the extra time perfecting every detail than compromise the final result. Every tattoo is a reflection of my standards, and those standards continue to grow with every piece I create.

    “The difference between being good and becoming exceptional is paying attention to the smallest details that most people would never even notice.”

    I believe those details are what truly separate great artists from everyone else. Texture, smooth transitions and clean execution may seem small individually, but together they define the quality of the final tattoo.

My mission has always been simple: to make sure every client leaves my studio with their expectations exceeded. That goal pushes me to keep learning, improving and demanding more from myself every single day.

    “What I dislike about today’s tattoo industry is that sometimes numbers become more important than artists.”

    I think some companies lose sight of why they created their products in the first place. When profit becomes more important than quality, artists are the ones who feel the difference. I believe quality should always come first.

    Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a guest artist in several cities across Spain, including Barcelona, Málaga and Huelva.

    Some of the studios I’ve worked with include Arte Eterno, Nueva Piel and Roberto Porras Tattoo. Every guest spot has given me the chance to meet talented artists, exchange ideas and continue growing both professionally and personally.

    Tattoo conventions have played a huge role in my journey as an artist.

    I’m especially known for creating realistic tattoos using smooth grey tones, clean transitions and balanced contrast while maintaining a soft finish that heals beautifully.

    Opening my own studio was one of the biggest goals of my career.

    It gave me the freedom to create the environment I had always imagined and to offer every client the quality, attention and experience they deserve.

    One of my biggest goals for the future is to tattoo outside of Spain and continue expanding my work internationally.

    I believe travelling, meeting new artists and experiencing different tattoo cultures will continue helping me grow both personally and professionally.

That’s what I try to achieve every time I tattoo. I want every piece to reflect the same attention to detail, softness and technical precision that define my work.

I don’t know exactly where I’ll be in five years, but I do know one thing—I will continue giving my very best in every tattoo I create. I believe that when you never stop pushing yourself to improve, growth happens naturally without even realising it.

From my very first day until today, I’ve felt exactly the same passion, excitement and love for this art. I feel incredibly fortunate to dedicate my life to doing something I’m truly passionate about, and that’s something I never take for granted.
